Welcome AG refugees. Yeah give us the dirt. We love to hear how inferior other boards are to our beloved Cellar!

Audio Galaxy is a defunct MP3 site, sued by the RIAA years ago. It was a file-trading model built on community-building though groups and message boards. After the music went away, the boards were still there. A group of nutjobs decided to stick around out of habit, this was like 5 years ago. Eventually the ability to verify new accounts went away, so the site was populated by permanent regulars. Functionality was incrimentally lost as the years went by, with no admin at the helm. Now, it may have gone kaput, although the owner (or someobody hacking his account) was seen there in recent weeks. He always asks "why are you still here? lol" . . . We were still there because the board was completely un-moderated.

Well it all happened in a Galaxy far far away... where music was traded and children danced...
There were short kids fat kids even kids with spots... brown kids white kids even kids with chicken pox... then one day a terrible scourge came along and ripped the music from their hard drives and chased the music away... things were very sad... most ran as far away from this scourge as they could... some didn't however cause they felt they had no where else to go... See this place was unmoderated for the most part and anyone could say any fracking thing they wanted at any frackin' time of the day and no one really gave a frack... Every so often though... someone would just vanish... as if their existence was plucked from the screen... it was called the great death by way of "white paged"... scary stuff I tell ya... :p Then one day it all quit working and well... here we are... |

You will need a wicked sense of humor, the ability to give as good as you get, any you may not be "intolerably irritating." Oh, and LJ may be along to administer the TEST - sometimes he does and sometimes he doesn't. Welcome. |

Was it a collective "plan ahead for a rainy day" kinda thang that AG refugees would meet at the Cellar? or just coincidence?
