6/25: Most tattooed senior

This 64-year-old is considered to be the "most tattooed senior".

Go ahead, speak openly about her! She's not here, and if she were here, she'd probably like all the attention.

She always was wearing long sleeved conservative clothing. Bet it was a surprise and a half for anyone taking her out for a "nice candlelight dinner."

I've read somewhere that people with lots of tattoos say that one of the reasons they do that is because of a certain "high" coming from getting a fresh new tattoo. I guess this old gal couldn't get enough of it! =)

Seen here, the world's most frightening lunch lady

In all seriousness though, how does someone let themselves do that? I doubt that she got all of them since she retired (which I assume she has), so how do you get and stay employed with tatoos like that? I know things are a little more liberal these days (I sat down at a job interview today talking to a guy with blue hair), but still, that's too extreme.

Hmmm...depends on what she did. From what I see, the tattoos are located below the neck line, at the wrists, etc. Unless she was a bartender in South St. Louis.

Isobelle is a lovely lady- I know her personally. She has just retired from being a top silver service waitress and is still very busy travelling the world making her living (Not sponging from the state!). Her husband is also a very nice gentleman who accompanies Isobelle everywhere. Why is it that people take one look at anyone who is heavily tattoo'd and automatically come to the conclusion that they are of a somewhat lower class than themselves?

Welcome to the Cellar, Nina.
What is a "silver service waitress"?
I have a video some women in New Jersey made of a tattooed woman walking down the beach. The reactions of the sunbathers was surreptitiously videotaped and shows a remarkably diverse reaction. The young and suprisingly the old were cool about it and the people in between ranged from fascination to disgust.
I mentioned in another thread the difference between people with tattoos and people without, is the people with don't care if the people without are without.

Thanks Bruce,much appreciated.
A silver service waitress is one of those very posh waitress's who is the best of the best and would dress, say the Queen's table, y'know?

I wish you British would speak English. Just kidding.
"Dress" the Queens table? Does that mean getting everything set up and ready as opposed to waiting on or serving the food?
