I was responding to the original post, not your post. It's one thing for the school to offer healthy snacks, I don't have a problem with that ... but the story about the Lunch Commissar going through the kid's lunchbox, banning the contents, serving the kid school lunch AND charging mom for it?

Yeah, I don't think it's right for the school to decide what the kids should eat.

Yes I am a proponent for healthy school lunches, but honestly, it's up to the parents unless they happen to be giving their kids stuff for lunch that makes them batshit crazy in the classroom, but even then, it would seem to me that a phone call home about the issue would be the correct course of action.

Satsumas UK = close enough to clementimes US. (Satsumas are even easier to peel), Clementine UK = tiny, not easy to peel mini oranges.
