NFL referee bungles

Watching the Colts vs the Bolts tonight.....

Boy....the refs fucked this whole game up.

The interception in the end zone that was returned 80 yards, but the refs blew the whistle and spotted it on the other 20.....

the touchdown the colts scored where the ball never crossed the line...

the mis spotted ball that got re-spotted and cost the colts a first down...

and that's only one game. I recognize that the refs have a tough job...and are only human and all.....but when there are multiple mistakes that impact the game so dramatically.....

I wonder what kind of Monday this particular crew will have. Do they get fined? reprimanded? beaten to death?

no, refs in most sports are just like cops. the whole world may know that a particular one is worthless, but they close ranks and say "you have no idea how hard our job is..."

i think you missed the one where they got called "off-sides" when it was 4th & 1 - with like a 1:48 to go trying to get the chargers to jump.

I don't know about American football and I never have the luxury of TV review, but yea the job is pretty tough.

yeah it is tough, but when anyone who saw an event knows it was a blown call, it would be better to say "oops, sorry - i'll try harder next time." that is much better than the usual pretense of "mistake, what mistake?".
