perhaps you grown-ups think you cannot make a relevant point about current events if you are singing and playing?

[in my case, alerting you to someone else's opinions] I know this is probably already old news, but did you hear it/read it yet?

Of course they can, if the artist isnt stupid and arrogant about it.

I havent personally heard the song yet. Neil young is has had some great songs though - ALL with good lyrics.

Sorry, Neil Young is not someone I have ever been able to relate to. I know a lot of people like him and his works, but I just cannot into his style. Win some, lose some...

Perhaps you un-grown-ups need to learn a little cultural history.

CSNY (you did know the "Y" was "Young", as in "Neil", right?) made a relevant point about current events with "Ohio".

But that was a long time ago.

Wow, have we really reached the point once again where we need some singer telling us about current events?? And it's not as if the lyrics hold anything profound either. Really pathetic.

I hope Neil Young will remember, a southern man don't need him around, anyhow...

Sometimes it's like trying to have a conversation with an ill-bred three year old in the room...

Also vice versa, but they can probably both benefit by having each other around anyway.
