What were the best years of your life?

Mine were my 40's. My life took a 360, I lost people that I dearly loved, yet had the best times, met some terrific lifelong friends, found my voice; lost some insecurities, and lost 100 pounds-yay

Best years? ... very tough to say. Good memories from riding hunters and jumpers in my teens, living at the stables in minimal housing and riding six horses/day while doing the stable work ... off and on feeling confident during senior year in my biochem degree ... but med school threw me off. I didn't feel confident in medicine until I'd had kids, had life kick me in the face a few times, and could see patients with some life experience. Forget the early 30s through the start of the 50s ... now I'd say, even with (or because of) my diagnosis and all that came with it, I'm grateful for each day. Every day is the best.

I feel like I grew the most while I was building my house and raising the shorties, but I'm trying to see the potential in every day.

Dear God, I hope they're yet to come!
