He's also significantly more difficult to hit than the person pulling the sling is themselves. A sling can roll over, and up in front of the payload, and shoot it backwards, but it will only hit someone in the Y-holder's position if the pullback is very weak.

Of course, if the payload is a grenade, it doesn't matter a whole lot which one is hit first.

The Atlanti published a bunch of photographs of Japan, taken in '44 and '45, from the national archives. They explained what each picture was, like stone tanks and wood/canvas aircraft, but couldn't come up with a clue for these two pictures.

, the first pic shows the new stealth tank. The stealth pads enable the tank to sneak right up on ya. Ya won't know nothing til BONZAI!!!!!

The item in the second pic is plainly intended for an invasion using Musk's tunnels.
