According to that chart, I am fat. I don't really think I look fat. I hate that chart. However, it did inspire me to start exercising this morning.

I'm not so sure I buy into the BMI thing completely. Right now I'm 24.9 (pushing overweight according to standard) and Case is still about 19.9, yet we are both in great shape. She's prob in even better shape than when the quote above was written, and I'm still about 6'1/189 lbs. I think bodyfat percentage is a better indicator even though it's harder to calculate. When I was body building a few years ago I was 6'1/235 with bodyfat % ranging from 9%-13% and even though I had a six pack when at the 9% number, my BMI was 31(obese). I will say though, that my joints hurt more, my blood pressure was a little higher, and I didn't feel nearly as healthy as I do now.

0n 9/24, I started at 34 BMI. I am now down to 31 BMI as of last Wednesday. That equals to 17.6 pounds lost. I won't know if it has gone down any more until Wednesday.

Yay me.

I don't trust the BMI numbers at all. Besides, they keep changing what is healthy and what isn't. I am the right weight for my height and my BMI says I am overweight. I don't carry extra "flab" as people say but am not tone like an athlete either. As long as I feel healthy, I give up on those things.

Thanks Everyone! I actually gained a little bit this week, but I think it is from all the stress I have been having. No big deal. It'll drop next week

According to This Webpage, you're looking at 8% of the whole body mass.

She tried various methods and the closest estimate was weighing a (dead and plucked) chicken approximately the same size as her head.

Will zengum ever come back to us?

Hey...I have some news. I've lost weight. I know this because this morning, my pants fell down. I am going to need a belt soon, or some new pants!
