Man that song is all over the radio in my area right now. I really dig that laid back thing they do during the hook. But, I've heard it so many times, I'm kinda getting tired of it.

I never heard of Chandler before, but, I kinda dug it.

Wow, the two songs really sound similar don't they? The extremely similar sound, combined with the tidbit below, tells me they may have been influenced by this very song. Or at least sampled that guitar riff.

Very good catch!

Kid Rock's 'Low Life', or 'The Life of Gravdigr'.

Except I don't owe anybody money.

I was looking through Ben Harper's stuff on youtube for Jim's guitar song thread and found this gem.

I really like this song - sorry, I only know how to post the url! it's Codeine by Jason Isbell. One of the best opening lines ever: "If there's one thing that I can't stand, it's this bar and this cover band..."

worth clicking on!

Click on the youtube icon and then look at the address and copy the part BETWEEN the "=" signs. BOLD & RED using yours as an example.

Isbell's voice reminds me of Ryan Bingham.

Great line: "Lost in the middle of nowhere, wishin' I was somewhere". I love that fuzzy lead thing he does, catchy as hell.

I made myself LOL. I was listening to the Bingham tune (at my desk), from the waste up it was all business as usual.

From the waste down I was dancing like a fool.
