I haven't done anything specific with Maya and Milkshape as of yet. A chunk of my classes in college dealt with 3-D modeling and animation and I've been trying to come up with a doable project.

Check out Alice. I used it quite a bit for a class in college. It's a 3d interactive animation tool based on Python (Guido, not Monty). It's designed for beginners, but is powerful.

Ok, anybody expecting some sort of psychobabble from what I was looking at is going to be disappointed. This was just a demographic survey, not a Fraudian analysis.

From what I've seen of the desktops it seems that the trend I noticed in the homes and PC's of normal people the men seem to have less crap running in the systray and fewer icons on the desktop. The icons that ARE on the desktop are generally shortcuts to programs. The women usually have shit strewn everywhere on their desktop and around 6 to 8 things running in the systray.

Now looking at the desktops here I would say that most of the guys here have some very feminine computer operating habits or they are not normal.

Part of the problem with assessing this is that xp hides your systray now and the mac and linux crowd don't get counted properly because I can only go by their desktop as I don't have enough experience with their interfaces to judge their running programs.

So taken as a whole the women seem to be pretty much on track and most of the guys are gay.
