Downloadable TV programs to your iPhone/similar personal electronic item will be big business.
Windows 6 will suck even more than Vista, though such a thing may be hard to imagine.
I will still be unemployed
Gordon Brown will not be strung up via a lamp post, despite very much deserving to be so.
David Cameron will still be a vacuous twit.

Right now I'm feeling sorry for Cameron. I had no idea what he and his family were coping with. I still hate his politics.

Agreed, that's a terrible thing for anyone to have to go through. I think his politics would be laughable if not for the fact he's going to be the next PM, but even so...that's not something anyone should have to suffer.

Most of us will live in farming communes near the North pole defending our food from people who look like they steeped off the set of Mad Max

If nothing else, given that he is likely to be our next PM, at least his attitude towards the NHS isn't Thatcherite. Sleeping on hospital floors and relying on the care of NHS staff for 7 years has given him a slightly different perspective on it it seems.

I'll probably regret saying this, and feel free to make me eat these words when Britain is suffering under the Tory boot...but...there's a large part of me hoping the labour party gets a bloody good kicking at the next general. I am a member, and a labour councillor and I am ashamed of the party I represent. I can no longer look people in the eye and give them a good reason to vote for us. "Not as bad as the Tories would be" isn't enough. We sold the dream for some sparklies and shinies. I still believe in the Labour movement. But the Labour Party has abandoned its historic mission and decoupled itself from its historic mission. We have lost our moorings, lost our soul. We do not deserve to win another term. I wouldn't vote for us.

Well I support the Lib Dems, but that is because they are the only viable local opposition, and I know the family one of their lead campaigners here personally.

I hear a lot of Labour members are very upset with the party leadership (and rightly so), but until the sort of people who came up with ideas like this are removed, I can't even see myself voting for them if they were a viable party. As a foreign national myself...well, need I say more?

*shakes head* disgraceful. That whole Crewe and Nantwich campaign was a disgrace.
