As It Happens: A current affairs show on CBC Radio One at 6:30p ET M-F. Sorta like NPR's All Things Considered, but with more of an interview angle. They cover happenings not only in Canada, but the world in general. It's carried on many stations in the US through Public Radio International. (Here in the Philadelphia area, it's on NJN Public Radio--88.1FM--at 9pm.) Good stuff.

As you may have heard, Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, the Iraqi Minister of Information, appeared Thursday for the first time since the fall of Baghdad. Where's he been all this time?

Traveling.

I found the following on The Juice on MSNBC.

Go to Google.

Type in "weapons of mass destruction" (no quotes).

Click the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button.

What decade is your personality living in?: I found this on dagney's blog. It's pretty cool, and anyone over 20 should be able to answer all the questions.

As far as myself, my personality is living in the '60s.

??? *shrugs*

Britain's TV Licensing website
: If you live in the UK, you have to pay £116 each year to use a television...just a tad over $183 US. And they don't sound like they're playing around on it either...check out their favorite excuses section.

Psycho cat was good too.

That boggles my mind...you have to pay for the TV, then pay a yearly fee just to watch it. PBS would like us to donate to them, but it's not like we have to.

You know, there have been some questions I've been meaning to ask our British friends for about a week now, and the whole TV issue has inspired me.

New thread to come...
