Thanks, Sundae, didn't make it here last night. I can't imagine steak sauce and brown sauce can be that far apart, but Brit expat HP lovers are apparently not satisfied by steak sauce. brown sauce is sorta tangy fruity apparently and steak sauce isn't. What the hell is steak sauce? really? It scares me. A decent steak should be unadulterated.

To be fair, brown sauce is traditionally known as chop sauce. And I wouldn't let it near a decent chop!

HP (the only brand I've had) brown sauce is sort of a cross between Heinz 57 and A1 steak sauce.

HP BBQ sauce is a damn near exact copy of KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce. It's friggen scary.

What do you mean by Heinz 57? Tomato Ketchup?

I have been on a major cobb salad jones for a long time. Each time I start to assemble the ingredients (I have a perfect combo) the family intercepts a crucial part.

Now I need to find bacon.

There was a restaurant near where I worked in Stamford al ong time ago which made an amazing Cobb salad, with warm chicken breast. It was righteous.

I want a Triple Stack Baconator with cheese and a Frosty Float from Wendy's. Unfortunately, I'm unable to go get it myself.

Giant bowl of chocolate peanut butter ice cream slathered with chocolate syrup and whipped cream, a blow job and eight hours of sleep.

monster - Heinz actually makes a sauce called Heinz 57. According to the website it is described as
Quote:
Heinz 57 Sauce
Our secret blend of premium herbs and spices has made Heinz 57 Sauce an American favorite for over 90 years! With a unique rich flavor unequalled by any other Steak Sauce, it's no wonder that Heinz 57 Sauce is served in America's great Steak Houses.
I tried it not too long ago, it is pretty good.

Heinz 57 (varieties) is the logo on all British Heinz products (unless it changed since I left). We specify them by name, e.g. Ketchup, Baked Beans, Spotted Dick....

You Americans... *sigh*

Heinz may be American by origin, but I think they have a larger market share in the UK than they do here -we all grew up with Heinz -Heinz baked beans are the staple Brit food.
