Everyone made good points and was clear in my mind.I understood clobfobble and Ibram and mrnoodle. No one seems to be grasping in the dark except for the obtuse one. I would like clobfobble's question to be answered.

Like in our government, if we question the truth about what is really happening then the goverment deflects by raising some other issue? A good tactic that. Boring and long drawn out points made about 'their truth' so you are even questioning yourself! When people don't want to answer the question straight out they deflect the focus off the point and it is quite annoying to witness. It isn't complicated. Our goverment speaks from within a closed box too. I think most everyone can see that Bush is obtuse. There seems to be no argument here of a shadow government. Isn't that what figurehead means?

I appologize in advance for stepping on anyones toes.

anyway....

mrnoodle. Your last sentance in that paragraph reminds me of a book. My son just finished reading it. It is called. '1984' by George Orwell.

Of course it's happening. As we approach 300 million people, the task of insuring the domestic tranquility becomes harder, so of course, more rules, more restrictions, a tighter control of the populace is necessary.

Diversity is the enemy, that's why it's being promoted so heavily by the government and big business. Diversity prevents us from coalescing as an effective political unit. They want to make sure it doesn't happen.
