LOL no Bruce, I haven't seen the divorce rate, and that's for a reason, I choose not to look at it. Most of the people I know got married for all the wrong reasons and then got divorced so I can only imagine that it is extremely high...I don't worry myself with that though, which would be one of the biggest reasons why I'm still single. I'm not letting society or anything else decide my fate for me. I refuse to put myself through what everyone I know has been through...
besides that, everyone that's married keeps telling me to never get married. What do they know? They're jacked up to begin with...IF i get married, it will be forever, or I won't get married...there's no bullshit for me.

Heh...I think all marriages start out with that particular vow.

You're right Stormie...they probably do... but the marriages I've seen are all about "me" what happened to compromise?

Sigh, life does funny things to ya...kicks you when you least expect it sometimes. I'm always happy to see the happy marriages! It's not easy.

I think that that is the main problem with marriages not working out as often as they used to. Divorce was even harder to aquire and you were likely to lose all of your friends in the middle, society was not very tolerant of divorcees. It was better to try and stay with your spouse and work things out the best you could. Although the easier access to divorce has its perks, it also has it's downfalls as well.

EDIT: I'm not trying to say that divorce is easy now, just easier.

Not sure at all about genetic factors; it may be entirely developmental, during gestation. What we don't have is analyzable data on gay parents siring similarly gay children. I don't think we can expect to find a correlation -- after all, year to year, century to century, homosexuality remains a constant percentage, roughly five percent of men and three of women.

A homosexual friend of mine, a man of some quiet sexual attractiveness of his own (attraction is attraction and seems not to correlate with the orientations of the attractor or attractee), once told me, "Nobody sits down and picks homosexuality to take advantage of its opportunities."

Sexual orientation manifests itself long before any sexual experience is gained, and seems to be a component of the self's structure right in there with self-awareness.

What earliest sexual experiences seem to do is not to establish orientation as to influence individual taste in sexual partners -- regular-philias or paraphilias.

I still say it has a purpose more important than something like eye color or other genetically controlled traits. Perhaps something like sickle cell anemia in Africa vs North America?

I'd question the accuracy of the cool nurse.

When boys enter puberty a lot of hormonal changes occur. These changes will result in many, but not all boys experiencing episodes of spontaneous erections during sleep, during the day and wet dreams.
Every thing I've read and seen says, boys will experience spontaneous erections during sleep and awake starting in infant-hood. Not emissions but certainly erections.

It was just the first google entry for "wet dreams". I didn't actually read it. I just looked long enough to ensure it wasn't porn.

Sorry, I certainly didn't mean to put you in the position of having to defend your erections.
