yeah i got to update my pic as well. got banker hair again, only with various forms of beard, depending on the season. The current Abe Lincoln has betrayed my face with far more gray than someone at 36 has a right to expect imho.
I shall post before and afters and let you be the judge. I have come to the conclusion that I can neither go full on banker-style (for it would damage my rock juju) nor go longhair finnish deathmetal style, for I must mingle with professionals during the day. I refuse to contemplate the halfhearted attempt at rock hair -- the one that results in what I call the "Miami Vice coke lord" ponytail. You know, where your hair is too short to tie back, yet long enough to be in your face all the time when you bend over. So you grab what look like the 30 or so most likely candidates and yank them out of their sockets in order to ensnare them in the tinyest rubber band you could find. The rest of the hair is allowed to flop around jauntily at will. Shaving has become an option. Chix dig bald dudes.

UT! join me in possible baldness! Once you stop fighting the inevitable (none of us will ever be able to measure our hair in feet again (more's the pity)), you become something of a minimalist.
chix dig bald dudes. But i don't think imma do it right now. maybe if i get a tat.

I admit I dig the look of a shaved-bald head, but only if it's a nicely-shaped head. Shave it and post a picture, noodle, and I will judge the shapeliness of your skull for you!

No way man. Before this cut I had a near mullet going. My hair line has lost 1/2" and it's all I got going for me so that's that.

Speaking of mullets... it is an established fact that the coolness of a haircut is proportional to how much like a mullet it is, BUT when it crosses the line into mulletdom it goes straight down. Therefore, the coolest haircut is simply the one closest to a mullet without being one.

Wow rk, that's freaky!
So is there a mathematical formula that expresses the coolness as a limit as mulletosity approaches 1 (assuming it's on a scale from 0 to 1), with a discontinuity at 1? |

Used to love the Bowie/mullet look. Now I have a flesh yarmulke (thank you Howard Stern for that). Soon enough i'll have a horseshoe head - you know, where there's a bald strip on the top of the head in the shape of a horseshoe, with just a puff hair top center. It's a real young, hip look - NOT!

It is at that point that the daring gentleman must make "The Decision"...either shave it all off, or grow the remaining hair down to one's shoulders. There is no in between.

I go with the bi-weekly #2 buzz cut. I hate the Riff Raff from Rocky Horror picture show look, and can't bring myself to shave it - I'd look too much like Uncle Fester.

All my pics are more or less gone. You'll have to really work to seduce one out of me.
