BTW I have a lot of pets but the only ones I bought "new" (so to speak) were the chickens and the guinea pigs. All the rest were rescues and hand-me-downs.

Yay for slightly used pets!

Turbo and Pico are both rescues...Turbo, when he was a kitty and Pico when he was a year old. They are the best of buddies. One of these days I am going to take a video of them play fighting...its hilarious.

Theses are camera phone pics so the quality is sucky.

The house J's family were living in when I first met him was an old stone house with a staircase like that. J's attic room was at the top of it and a corridor running off that linked the two sides of the house.

[eta] nigh on impossible to sneak up or dolwn a staircase like that...

Tiny has arrived! Sweetest dog, ever. She's a four and a half year old rescue from Tampa Humane Society.

She's beautiful! Hope she doesn't have any Foxhound in her.

It is actually mostly the camera angle. She was so excited to play that it was hard to get her to stand still for a second, and here she was already stepping back towards Kitsune. She's actually got a pretty normal size head.

We really have no idea what she is -- her paperwork at the Humane Society listed her as a "hound mix" as she was leaving, and before that she was a "boxer mix." The gals at the shelter speculate that she may have some kind or basset hound or corgi in her, because she is actually pretty compact.

She was surrendered to the shelter because her last owner didn't have the time to take her of her, anymore. The owner said she used to work as a companion dog visiting retirement homes, and that the retirees named her "Tiny Hiny" because of her small butt.

Okay - I don't much like dogs. I am naturally cat-orientated. But even I get choked up when people adopt them because they are pack animals and I know it's hurtful for them to be alone. Two thumbs up to you too, and as dogs go, she looks and sounds like a sweetheart.

And I don't think you have a big head Choc.

Oh and figured we were missing a picture of Diz on this page.
