I suppose we all fight our own demons in our own way...and no one else ever knows unless we tell them.

The world is a better place with you in it.

I know, but I was just thinking how every one that cares about me and everyone I care about I will one day move away, run away, push away or out live.

Hmmmm...wish I had some sage advice for you here...but unfortunately not. All I can say is to make the best of everything you have before you don't have it anymore.

Have fun Ibby - be safe!

Did you stock up on water in case your water supply goes out? Or are you going to be flushing the toilet with Smirnoff?

(Power outage doesn't automatically equal loss of running water, but it can, depending on your circumstances - and there are other reasons the water supply may potentially be unreliable ...)

I've got four liters of water in the fridge. IF we lose running water, which isn't too likely this far north/up here on the hill above the lake, i'm not terribly worried about going a day or so without shitting to be honest. worst case i'll let it sit (ick!). but honestly, while POWER outage is likely, water interruption isn't, up here. And anyway, I have plenty of booze to barter with in the post-apocalyptic post-storm society.
