What I want to know is: Who funds the research of the HPV Research Group?

The government?
Big Pharma?
Who?

Research is often funded by group with vested interests. I'm not saying that this is the case, but I'm curious.

This page shows details of one of the funding bodies in Australia. I'm not sure if it's the only one, but I would doubt it. Most projects of this size have funding from various stakeholders which would include both government, pharamceutical companies and very possibly other private funding bodies.

Cool. So you are so informed, why would you wait until your kids were sexually active before they got the vaccine?

OK, perhaps I should have been more clear and said when she reaches an age where she's thinking about becomming sexually active. Again, this is generally an age when people are able to make an informed decision (or should be). I don't have a daughter though. Only sons.

Damn those researchers. I want to see more money going into research for treatment for guys who can't get it up, not wasted on female cancers. Next thing you know, they'll have a viable way to test and treat ovarian cancer.
