The Trouble with Tribbles Hallmark ornament is far cooler than I thought. I mean, I even played with it in the store, briefly, but this thing is keeping me entertained for hours.

I also got the Reliant from Wrath of Khan, and don't tell momwolf that I bought myself the Communicator.

She also gave me a bunch more cash than I expected, which is to go to purchasing content for the Kindle. Gotta find some things to buy for it!

I have my Christmas dress on right now, and I vamped up my make-up to make me feel special.

My sister bought me a black top which looks very suitable. I'm still tempted to wear the corset to her house tomorrow though. I'll see what Mum says. If not, I'll wear my new top and my Mrs Lovatt skirt - that'll make enough of a statement I don't want to upset her - it's her Boxing Day too - just shake her up a little.

Mum & Dad also bought me a Waterstone's gift card (angels) and my bro bought me some more Ass Kicking Cornbread mix (also angel).

Funny thing was, I forgot I's got TWO presents each for Mum & Dad. So they opened the first, then I came up to check on the pile I'm taking tomorrow. There seemed far too many. So I'm examining them all (I don't do gift tags) for the personal signs I mark on them to identify them to me. And even then, I had no idea what they were!

I'd bought Dad a presentation bottle of Spitfire ale, with silver (plated) cufflinks, which he is now wearing. And Mum a Champneys gift pack. Actually - I bought that last January and it was £40 reduced to £10. But she doesn't know that and was bowled over (Champneys is a world renowned heath spa which is only about 5 miles from here).

And I can't remember a lot of what I bought anyone else either, so I'll have more lovely surprises tomorrow!

Merry Christmas all, better go downstairs and eat some sausage rolls

Just opened the boxes from my family. Got two magic tricks, David Blaine's 'Mysterious Stranger', three decks of very nice cards, a mini-deck of cards, a gaffed deck of cards, a book on training one's memory and a bracelet with my initials etched onto it.

edit: And a CamelBak Alpine Explorer bag.

I got this:

Isn't it cool? Know what it is? Any Harry Potter fans? It's a time-turner! I wish it really worked! Who couldn't use a couple more hours in the day?

Also got a 20" LCD widescreen monitor, some nifty Abercrombie slipper socks, and a manicure set.

Merry Christmas!
