Went to San Francisco with my Dad earlier this month on a short vacation.

Point Reyes National Seashore, the lighthouse on the point at Point Reyes, and the Golden Gate Bridge from Battery Spencer.

Post 63 looks like a green slime mold - more common on your coast than mine - nice find - what was it attached to?

Green capelin roe is my best guess. Adhered to some seaweed, my fingers shown here for scale (not for hygiene ). This was at a very low tide on the Hood Canal near Quilecene. I moved them slightly, they're a single mass, and then I folded the seaweed back over them and resumed my hunt for dinner.
