Me and SonofV posing in front of a lovely little waterfall. Can any of you find the impeding surprise in this picture?
A little break in the trail where we could see across the valley. A lovely day for a hike! The trail twisted through some boulders here. I asked SonofV to turn around, please, and let me get a shot of his face (I'd seen enough of his back all the way up). He obliged, happily. We stopped for lunch on this bench. SonofV was tramping around and postholed through the soft deep snow. He got, we all got a laugh from this, so he just packed himself in for lunch. He's up to his *ahem* and solidly so. He stood up for lunch. But his butt was also resting on the snow. Weird. Funny, but weird.

Thank you both! It was a nice hike, we had a great time. I'm sore today though, hips and thighs.

Visiting Bass Pro Shop again.
 We saw Santa. Abby & I posed with the grizzly bear. Addie was scared of it but was fascinated with playing with a turkey's butt. LOL
