Shawnee, all I'm saying is I considered Betty Ford. She was on my group of people that I had actually typed up. I had a lot to pick from. That's why I came up with 2 lists.

Only 1 list counts for each of us though. It's the only list that matters. If Betty Ford or Harry Morgan died, I won't say "I told you I thought about them." I'll probably say, "Dammit, I picked the wrong names for the long list of possible choices."

I guess the morbidity of this thread is open to even a Madman. Here's my... <cough> unhopefulls.

John Astin
Jean Stapleton
Andy Griffith
Hal Linden
Adam West
David Hasselhoff
Bob Newhart
Kirstie Alley
Michael J. Fox
James Arness

Actually, I hope they are all still alive. They are... 99% sure of it.

You're welcome to play Madman. I hope you're wrong about John Astin, Adam West, Bob Newhart, and Michael J. Fox. I really like them.

"The Hoff" gives me hope that Ozzie Osbourne will live forever... in a kinda-sorta reality/fantasy show kinda way.

That would be 41 points unless we have a tie. Then we'd go by fractions of years.

I'm pretty Dick Clark refers to the radio, television, and movie star and producer famous for American Band Stand, TV Bloopers, and New Year's Rockin' Eve.

Richard Wagstaff Clark
November 30, 1929 (1929-11-30) (age 80)
Mount Vernon, New York

I don't really care: I only started playing last year I think.

My memory tells me there were questions about scoring earlier this year, so "this is the way WE'VE always done it" didn't seem to be an option.

Carry on, my deadward sons.

OK, what if a celeb was born in, say, 1920. Then he dies in 2008. Then he is reincarnated as a Jonas Brother, and dies again in 2010. Which age should we use?
