I haven't been here that long, and I don't remember. If I had to guess, I'd say Stumble Upon. I voted for other/ it's enormity, but I don't really think of this place as big. I think it's intimate, that's why I came here. One of the forums I looked into was Something Awful. It had good points, but it was just so freakin huge, that I could never keep up with it.

Other and it's enormity, I meant like the vast number of "other" reasons why people came here. Not cause the Cellar itself is quite large.

Well that's another reason I joined to learn things. I used to belong to a home decorating forum. It was like they were speaking a foreign language, and I read some where that trying to learn a different language delays the onset of alzheimer's.

My first glimpse of the Cellar was a picture of Wolf gleefully holding a firearm I was googling.

love at first sight. I lurked for over a year, and in a burst of wild exuberance, decloaked.

I was watching "Donnie Darko", and the phrase "cellar door" stuck in my head, and I ran it thru Google.

One day I took the tin foil out of my hat and the voices told me to come here and infect all I came across.
Listen to the voices, and help me take over the universe.

Honestly, I don't remember. But that's not unusual. What was the question?

Someone linked the IoTD on another board I belong to, I followed the link and began to browse the Cellar. I found an interesting thread on sex education in schools and made my first post (and second and third). I didn't get my head bashed in, so I stayed .

VB programming class, 10th grade, after a serious session of Tribes but before an Age of Empires II match on the class network. My buddy said he found more people in the world with our peculiarly balanced blend of open-mindedness and cynicism, and they were on this one board. The rest is the rest.
