Buddy Holly inspired John Lennon and the early skiffle Quarrymen (including McCartney) ....

so, i guess even though the Beatles and Stones raped the music field with "Britsh pop blues"

OK

second the bloomming bloodsucking bastard BEATLES (the stones would be a followup, but they just tagged alone and tried to be different)

@ Beestie, your post reminded me....did you ever hear the James Gang after Joe Walsh split? haahahah, it just wasn't the same without his vocals/guitar.

BTW did ya see Eric Claptons Crossroads Guitar Fest (in Dallas,Tx) DVD? I thought it was a hoot in that it was a 3 day benefit concert for Alchohol Abuse... and Joe Walsh was one of the main head liners .... lol.
