It was a Cleaver Christmas for me - Leave it to Beaver calendar and Leave it to Beaver Season 1 DVD in the collectible lunch box. Totally Awesome!

You are all welcome to wrap up the tour here! There's plenty of room in the back yard to park the RV.

Just let me know when you're headed for the West of Scotland and I'll book you the bunk house (sleeps 23).

$395 per night for up to 15 people. Sounds like a good Cellar GTG. What's there to do on Arran?

What's their policy on debauchery?

I'm not sure but I believe that the debauchery policy is "Please do not break the bunks".
Links on the bunkhouse site tell you what there is to do on Arran - walking, biking, climbing, hang-gliding, sailing, riding, golf, bowls, bird-watching, drinking beer and whisky, fishing, shooting (clay pigeons anytime and pheasant in season), stalking (red deer, in season) ... stuff like that.

So she returned it.

I know we determined to only get small, practical gifts for each other this year. But I wonder if she realizes that she returned my Christmas present and so, arguably, got me nothing.

Wait a minute...*she* decided to get the comforter, then returned it because *she* didn't like it?

How was this, in any way shape or form, your Xmas gift to begin with? Sounds to me like you didn't get anything even if you consider the comforter.

Well it had my name on it sitting under the tree...
EDIT: I want to make clear that I'm not complaining here. (There was after al lthat little Nikon camera right before Thanksgiving.) But I find it amusing, and I'm certain she'd feel very bad about it if I said anything, so I'm not going to.

An electric viola. Also, an electric violin. But it arrived broken and had to be sent back. Still waiting for the replacement.

What's the difference between the two? If it's electric, can't you just retune it??
