You guys are all so funny!

Here are a couple slightly wider shots with dead giveaway clues. Then I'll tell.

You bet your bippy. Numerous images here. This one is excellent.

I must also say, I found it very very difficult to photograph. The skin in this section is polished to a mirror finish, as you can see by the reflection of the top of the Space Needle in the third shot, but the pink/purple/orange sections where they reflect only the blue sky look grainy and dirty. They are not. And the colors are... well, impossible to capture. Evoke, perhaps. Communicate, maybe. But it is a poor facsimile. T'was much fun to visit, and lovely to see, and maddening to photograph.

1st one is the morning after camping in the rain, and the wet tarp is draped over the soggy camper's torso and legs.

2nd one is a flower blossom.

Nice work as usual, glatt.

Yes, the first one is me. But I'm not actually soggy. Dewy, yes, soggy, no. It was soooo hot and humid that despite the clear skies, the air was heavy with moisture. It was warm enough to sleep under the stars and I took that rare chance. I made the yellow groundcloth/tarp you see here out of 1.1 oz silicone impregnated ripstop nylon. Very light, and quite waterproof. But I didn't count on how slippery it was (it is *very* slippery) and it didn't stay on all night. So I got a little damp. My down bag, the red/black underneath was wet on the surface too, but dry inside.

The second picture is the base of a still-furled california poppy, taken on a walk to the grocery store the other day. The colors are incredible. Here's a complete uncropped shot.

I wasn't sure if the dampness on the tarp was on the outside or inside. I've had it rain inside a tent on a few occasions where my breath condensed on the inside of the tarp on a cool night and then dripped down.
