Choco, try giving her her own spoon to hold while you feed her. That's what I do with Eva (and all previous progeny) when they go through this stage.

Good idea, Ali. Thankfully this was a one time occurrence -- so far. She's usually a happy camper at mealtimes, but on this particular morning she had woken up in a bad mood and wasn't happy with anything. I took the video after about 10 minutes of "I'm HUNGRY! GET THAT SPOON OUT OF MY FACE!"

When they're getting more self sufficient, they can be a bit resentful of you feeding them. Eva is actually doing the same thing quite often, so she has her spoon, and when she is about to put the spoon in her mouth, I quickly put a loaded one in. It's just one of those little tricks I learned from someone once who seemed to have more knowledge than me. It's important to share the little tricks of the trade.
