No, it won't hurt, because the appendage which I will be using is size-appropriate for the disc and the device in which it will be placed...

Santa gave me:
-a set of flannel sheets. No longer is going to bed like climbing onto a block of ice.
-a collection of various bath oils and things. I'd rather have a bathroom that smells like Bath and Body Works than...a bathroom.
-a leather and silver bracelet. Stylin'.
-a Mac laptop. Just in time as my old one is just starting to show its age (9 years)

Santa gave me ... a personally dedicated arrangement of The Trumpet Shall Sound from Handel's Messiah for brass quintet, a bronze sculpture of a hare (possibly French 19th century), several entertaining books, a scatter of candles, some scented things for bathtime, a scarf, warm socks and several boxes of chocolates! And a teach yourself belly-dancing kit ...

By the way, I have found that British persons aged in their 40s have a disproportionate fondness for candles in the home - I personally link this to our Winter of Discontent in the 1970s when there was what amounts to power rationing and we all relied on cancles for illumination ....

Talking

Half-a-kilo of assorted chocolates from our local chocolate shop, a 300g box of ferrero rocher and some cherries in brandy enrobed* in chocolate.

*such a sensual word, don't you think?
