45, but I delete them because our IT dept got me into good habits

I PM Brianna because some things don't need to be shared openly (and she is an old soul and really makes me laugh)

I also PM DanaC because she's a good gel & we have a lot in common, esp tastes in books. And British things, you know.

Oh and sometimes I need help. Tachnical I mean, so I PM UT and the rest of the Heroes

I tend to use the PM as email, for chats & exchanges. Can't say it's ever because it's super-secret private. I expose that sort of thing on the main forum!

of course work. Although our slagging is very mild. The complaint most often is that everyone is seen chatting everyone else up all of the time.
So one day the biggester chatter of all was caught complaining to management that her little worklings were 'talking as friends.'

talking as friends ????? lol that is the extent of our backstabbing at our work.

I have lost all my chums on my floor now
But we were as evil as eachother - or at least had the same wicked sense of humour.

Except in the case of one coworker we really didn't get on with (guess who is STILL sitting next to me after the move?) it was mostly targeted at management. Amending and forwarding round emails to show what they really meant. Or disgusted account of what X asked them to do - does she think I'm her personal slave?! That sort.

Amongst the troops there's a good sense of camraderie. There has to be really, public services is hardly known for it's huge paypackets!

In my experience, this can be a very dangerous practice. lol All it takes is one wrong click in the 'To' column and you're history.

In many work environments, when you delete, that just means you can't see it any more. Doesn't mean the boss and his stooges can't.
