Bailey!
Our hedgehog, Bailey. Photo by Kitsune.
A few more pictures can be found over in the A Pet You Cannot Pet thread from a while back. (For the record, you can pet him, just not against the grain.) The original link for the video in that thread is broken, so here's the "OMG Hedgehog" video on YouTube. |

I think the prepackaged toys at the store have gotten really stale-Our cats really prefer some of the loose stuff just sprinkled on the floor or sewn into a homemade toy

I think you're right, though it seems as though Gaines got something out of it yesterday, he was tearing around the house like a maniac! I think I'll get some loose nip and one of those little balls you put it in.

While not technically my dogs, I still love them like my own. They are my parents' dogs.
First up is Maggie, the queen of the house (the sheet is a sad attempt by my parents to control hair. I told them not to let the dogs on the furniture!!) |

Next is Monk, gigantic mutt galore. He would definitely not be this big if my brother had been able to keep him. For size, the clean(ish) white in the background is the dishwasher. He is about as wide as that. This was a top down view to show is massiveness. Sweetest dog EVER, though

The best was when I still lived near my mom, I wasn't feeling good and went over for some mommy comfort. I went to lay down and they must've known something was wrong because I found myself in a dog sandwich. Dog, Me, Dog is not fun when you are under the blankets and can't move. |

Awww. That reminds me of the part in Marley & Me, when the wife lost their first child. Marley sensed it, and wouldn't leave her side. Dogs are really cool that way!
