Neat tortoise, binky! He looks huge though - how big is he?

Dana - How exactly do you pronounce "Pilau"? Is it "peel-ow" or maybe "peel-ah-oo"? Maybe it's a silly question, but it's been keeping me up at night.

He is actually about 18 inches from tail to head or a little more- he is only little compared to the other one the tortoise rescue lady offered us-that one was about 50 lbs

Cute tortoise

Gots to do it I'm afraid. Anyone already bored by pics of Pilau, look away now:P

In the second pic... I get the impression he's humouring me. This whole balancing a biscuit on his nose is starting to wear a bit thin with him....

Following the pig IOTD I just wanted to show them sleeping together
This is on the sheepskin bed suspended from the radiator - HM's cat rejected it ages ago but a couple of washes brought it up good as new and my warmth-hounds love it.

If I can get a vid of Dylan doing his karate move on Diz, where he knocks him off his feet I will, it make me laugh out loud every time

My cats on catnip

They've always responded to catnip, but this stuff is 100% catnip (large pet chains usually "cut" it in their toys). I didn't buy it online but it's Ducky World Green Fish (a link to one of the sites that sell it Stateside).

Get one per cat - this one has been slobbered all over by 3 cats in just a few days.

Love the catnip film, SG.

I got a nippy toy the other day to show Homeless Guy how my cats respond to it. I think my dealer at Kroger sold me some real crap, because they weren't very interested at all. Off to petland for the good shit!
