UGLY BOOB AHEAD!

Okay, I have to explain this one. When I was 8 years old, I was burned badly. I went out in our backyard to play with leftover fireworks on the morning after the Fourth of July. Dropped the match on the nightgown I was wearing (before the days of flame-retardant kid's sleepwear) and WHOOSH! I was on fire. Nowadays we teach kids to stop, drop & roll, but that was way before that. My dad had to catch me and throw me in the swimming pool (two feet away).

So, I have third degree burn scars covering the side of my torso, and skin graft, etc. Hence--ugly boob.

It's what really got me into body modification--tattoos first. I thought--why not put something on my body that I really like. Anyway--no cooter shots, just an ugly boob for ya. When I was thinking about piercing my nipple, I had to think--should I dress up the sow's ear?

Sow's ear? Please, chile. You have a very interesting right tit, with or without the jewelry. Interesting is always good. Think how boring it would be if you had no texture for contrast.

You know how a little bit of salt makes the sweet cantaloupe taste better? We learn to appreciate things because we know the full range of experience. If you have only bland smooth white boobs and have never seen anything else, then they are boring. So you just happen to have a body modification from before it was popular. It's not by choice but it's all yours. And very distinctive, eh?

Of course I'm saying this because I'm still healing from a farkin' brown recluse bite on my right boob. Not as bad as it could be, but I have the depressed scar and surrounding purple flesh with a ring of staph infection scars a few inches out from that, and a few spots out from that ring, too. All new wounds within the last two months. What am I going to do about it? Nothing. It's mutilation not of my choosing, but I have since considered doing self piercing as an affirming thing. Right now I don't want any stranger anywhere near my boobs.

YAY Cloud!

Actually I have a slight kink about scars and tattoos. I like the feel of scars. running fingers and tounges over them. I just luv how tats move when the skin in rubbed and kneaded. As for being scarred, I really mean it, I find it oddly attractive.

No not to the point of being into mutilation however I am leaning more and more toward peircings.

I dont have scars that extensive but for years I was not only over weight (to my mind extremly fat) but had a very large scar across my back. Got it the summer before I started High School in a new town. A pale fat kid with dark scars in the gym showers with a bunch of football playing, skinny rednecks.
Lets just say I haven't always been so comfortable with my body.

A few years back I gained a lot, lost it, gained then lost... my meds and hormones (pills and shots) kept getting changed as well as my ability to be active (pain levels and a series of surgeries).
So, I have some deep scars across the front of my stomach, just below my belly-button. I am VERY sensitive about it.

Until this happened, I was NEVER body conscious in any way.
Spent time at a nudist colony, been almost completely naked on stage for weeks at a time, and I am not a very attractive guy and have always been kinda' heavy and hairy.
These scars/stretch-marks, for reasons I absolutely cannot figure out, freak me out. & I am usually pretty in tune with my workings.

I always wanted pretty, perky boobs, but it was never in the cards for me. At age 16, they did a reduction on the other boob to make them seem even (because the burned one was pulled up from scar tissue). Of course, this means scar tissue all around the areola, and under neath and everything. So BOTH boobs are scarred.

But I like your take on it! and you're welcome.

But . . .

PLEASE! NO SELF PIERCING! Badbadbadbadbadbad!

(Probably not a good idea while you're still healing, anyway). Brown recluse bites are NASTY things.

well, I'm definitely kinked that way anymore. Also, it's amazing how many people in the body modification community really like scars. They (we) are very accepting of different body types, too.

BTW, I love, love, love my nipple piercing--it's one of my favorites (but it can be a really tricky healer)
