Pologirl was named to the second team in the all Big Ten Conference all season teams
 Big Ten is one of the biggest and toughest conferences, so it's actually quite impressive

I realize that it completely meaningless to anyone outside of the US and probably most of those within...
Um.... she was named as one of the top 20 players this year in Women's University Club Water Polo in a conference that includes 9 teams of about 20 players each. She mostly plays defense so doesn't score too many goals, and the voters do tend to get blinded by goals (assists aren't really counted), so that makes it especially impressive. Her specialty is stealing the ball from the other team, which often has to happen before your team can score a goal  If you score, they get possession again, so....

Lil'Gs graduation present arrived last night. We got her a Roland electronic drum kit with mesh heads so she doesn't make her neighbors crazy when she moves to the big city.

She's having a rough morning. She drove to Boston yesterday to meet the real estate agent today and got an email last night which was him bailing on the meeting...

Her drumming has improved at college. She was taking lessons on campus the whole time and founded an all girls band. Her instructor said some really nice stuff about her playing and told her that of all his students she is the one who needs to continue in music. That was nice.
They found an apartment! It's funny the guy she's going to live with was about the first person she met 4 years ago. They've been friends ever since but not best friends or romantic. Just a friend headed in a similar direction.
