Rockette is 16 yo and listens to old heavy metal all the time, mostly Ozzie and Metallica. She's a two time Ozfest veteran. She bought an electric guitar and amp, plays the same Black Sabbath song over and over. At least she got tired of Led Zepplin fast. That would have been too much for me.

My 3 year old is wild about Richard Thompson and watched the concert dvd and requested the cd every day for months, in addition to putting on concerts for us in the living room and insisting on wearing a beret everywhere. Fortunately I think RT is brilliant and don't get tired of listening to him. Now though the kid's's gravitating towards a classical dvd and wanting to dress up in a suit and tie so he can be the conductor (he also wears a train conductor's hat) and the combination of classical music and a suit is a lot less exciting and more unsettling.

We listen to lots of songs on repeat for hours around here.

Take pictures. No sense in passing up an opportunity for future blackmail media.

You guys have it easy, you have little kids. I've teenagers. My son CONSTANTLY flips to some damn station-Fuse?-during commericals and it makes me MORE INSANE THAN I ALREADY AM! I've heard myself say things like, "Turn that down!" and, more terrifying, "All those songs sound the same!" This from a woman who went to ZZTop, Grateful Dead (many, many times with many, many Nitrous Oxide tanks), Nazareth, Neil Young (many, many times including when he went all Shocking Pinks on us), Bob Seger, Fleetwood Mac (many times) Paul Simon, B 52's, Jimmy Buffet, Judas Priest, and so many I don't remember--Santana? yeah, I think him, too. Anyway, I'm no music light-weight but I cannot STAND this stuff coming out of Fuse.
