I spend a LOT of my time being literal-minded. It's an occupational hazard for me. Fortunately, I have a aptitude and fondness for it. Attempts at "humor" are an antidote for me (and an affliction for others).

Having the ability to think literally isn't all bad. It won't suck. Besides, with friends like this, you're never stuck in literal land for long.
