Well, im European...i dont live close to the US, but i watch the news...and it just seems so well organised what Bin Laden is doing. He has a sickness but it doing much better than we thought. He 's not even nervous and he should be if everyone was looking for him! Its like somebody said, they have way better stuff to communicate so that wouldnt be the reason of the vid. For me it looks like he's laughing inside and makes fools out of the American top-politicians! Just "showing" himself....On the other hand, i think its actually strange that there are only 2 candidates for President...U have to choose between someone who seems radical, and another guy that u don't really know! Do you have to go to the elections? Is it Obligated? Who will be the better one for the country? That are things i wonder about here, its only out of curiosity, because i wouldnt know who to choose....

Actually we have any number of candidates for president, the trouble is the "third Party" guys like the Libertarian candidate or like Ralph Nader and his gang just don't get enough votes to have any sway in our peculiar electoral college system. I could go down and write in somebody's name on the presidential ballot if I felt like it, but much good THAT would do. No, we are not obligated to vote. It's a right which we can choose to exercise or not.

Haha Bruce, in that way the world is a small place...
Thanks for the info Marichiko , but how come there are so litlle candidates?
There seem to be a lot a people that dont agree with either Bush or Kerry...
But majority is gonna vote for one of them, no? Wer there any other candidates from the same party's as Bush and Kery? Wer these two the stronger ones? If u don't vote, does your vote go to the majority-party than?

Usually nobody runs against the current President from his own party, so no other Republicans ran. Nine other Democrats competed with Kerry to be on the ballot today, and Kerry won. I guess by definition that makes him the strongest, but I still would have preferred Howard Dean. If you don't vote, your vote goes nowhere. The winner in each state is the one with the most votes in that state. Each state then has a number of points towards winning the election. First candidate with 270 points wins.
