Asking Permission

You know, it occurred to me that I probably should ask UT's blessing before I go any further trying to instigate a project that is tagged with the name of his honored creation, The Cellar.

UT...do you mind if I continue calling this hairbrained scheme of mine "Cellar Radio"?

Naw, go ahead, although any other user could in theory call theirs that too?

Well, one never knows. People can be easily offended, and my grand scheme so far involves having stolen an original idea from Sycamore and a name from you. I'm just making sure I give respect and credit where they are due.

Cellar Radio Testing Continues

Night two of testing, for any of you late-nighters. Gonna try some voice over, and I've made a couple of "bumpers" just for the hell of it that I'm throwing in. I'll start the stream at about 1:00 AM CDT, and it will run for about an hour and a half, I think. Comments welcome. I'll have my chat clients running in Trillian. Remember, this is only a test, so be kind.

If interested, go to www.shoutcast.com, click on "listen", and enter "Cellar" into the search box. Once the server is connected and the stream is recognized, you should see it there. Click on the the appropriate button, and your streaming audio client will invoke.

Here goes nothing.

I think I've finally got my own version set up...maybe.

If you're on Yahoo IM tonight and want to help test, shoot me a message.
