It's like having a tutor =)
Compression screwed it up but both eyes are now 'looking' in the same direction as well.

So jaguar do you draw in "real life"? I've always wanted to do stuff like that but my very rudimentary dabbling has convinced me that one is unlikely to get good results with these computer programs unless you have some artistic instincts/skills in the first place.

(It looks great, BTW.)

I can reasonably and I've had a fair grounding in drawing and design theory which helps no end, with this kind of thing I can kind of 'see' where shadows need to go, the more I do it the more honed the sense gets.

The first drawings I did that I liked I did by simply tracing the outline of a picture and filling it in, it gives you a feel for how things work and proportions, then you can start from scratch.

That's awesome. Excellent contrast. But as you indicated, the eyes are not looking in the same direction - its slight but noticeable. Good stuff.

People with this much talent piss me off. But yeah the boobs are too small, so you're not perfect.

Nice work Jag. Does this mean you figured out the cel shading thing?

yea, I just gave up on the concept of outlines attached to shapes, you can't get enough definition do this kind of drawing with that anyway.

Welcome back, breakingnews! Been wondering what you'd been up to ...

Strangely, I also thought she needed bigger boobs.

and try softening the undereye shadows some more, mebbe diffusing them somewhat? She looks like she was punched a while back and is a week past raccoon stage.

She's meant to be fairly young which is why I didn't make them any bigger. The undereye shadows shitted me for about half an hour last night but I couldn't get them to work, I'll play again this morning for a bit.

The under eye shadows seem to land on her upper cheek bones, a bit low and broad. Maybe try to contour the face from the side- the temples, the cheek?
