Fight Club: I've heard that's a great movie, but I've never seen it. I'd like to see it just because Brad Pitt dies at the end (sorry about the spoiler for those who haven't seen it, but it really isn't a spoiler, from what I hear) I can't stand Brad Pitt. I don't know why. He just annoys me.

A Clockwork Orange: I liked it until they deprogrammed him. I thought he got what he deserved.

Awakenings: A true story. The doctor involved in that wrote a book called "The Man Who Mistook His Wife for A Hat." Excellent movie. Excellent book.

Schindler's List: Excellent book. The movie is heartbreaking. Much better than the book, believe it or not. See this one. It'll have you in tears. Very moving.

Gladiator: Oh yeah. GREAT movie. That's all you can say.

I'll have to add:

Saving Private Ryan: Very INTENSE move. I can understand why Viet Nam vets had to leave the theatre. It starts on an intense pitch and stays there, but never intense enough so that you become used to it.

And I know the guys will boo me for this, but Titanic. Forget the love story....if you've seen it in the theatres, you know that it's as close as you can get to being there without actually being there. The second time I saw it in the theatre, the usher was actually handing out kleenex. I shit you not.

What Lies Beneath is a good movie, and so is What Dreams May Come (Robin Williams)..

Has anyone seen 48 Hour Photo? I heard that movie is very good.....creepy, but good.

I watched the last hour of that movie last night on Bravo...whatta riot! Snipes is the ugliest drag queen ever, but baby, he captured the 'tude just right! *two snaps gurl!* Swayze was such a southern belle, I loved it! And Leguizamo (sp???) looked too much like a real woman...LOL! It was a mess. They all reminded me of queens (drag and otherwise) that I knew years ago when I was knee deep in the "culture-life" (clubbing, hanging out, etc.).
