My accent gave me away? Most people think I'm Japanese.

No. You're just turning Japanese.

Explanation: Australia is currently doing okay economically on account of selling a bajillion tons of coal and iron ore to China.

Come to think of it, they are paying with money you Merkins gave them for making super-cheap clothing and plastic crap.

Thanks, I guess.

You've probably already looked into all this, and I know nothing about the particular tests and/or interpretation of the numbers... but this seems like utter bullshit to me. Anyone can draw your blood. And your results are your legal right to have, whether or not you pay a doctor to interpret them. Can't you get a random GP to order the same test, and just keep an eye on the numbers yourself? It doesn't even have to be on a prescription pad, all it needs is the doctor's contact information and signature. Type the whole thing up yourself and hand it to your GP to sign. (And then photocopy it and update the date each time and you don't even have to make the appointment for the signature every few months.)
