The military has never been particularly sensitive to the lite-brite needs of its community.
I wish I still had mine! We could have a contest in 'images.' Eta: I now have the old lite-brite commercial in my head. Lite-brite making things with light Outta sight, making things with lite-brite! |

My stepdaughter has a lite-brite. Purchased new maybe 7 years ago or so for Christmas, so they were making them at least up until then.

The military has something like lit-brites; but, they're actually infrared-brites and you have to be wearing night vision goggles to play with them.
