This is a candy, yes? And that helps with constipation?

Squirell: I don't know if they grow apples in Texas. As for fresh apple cider, not sure if I've even seen it before. Let me look for it.

Clodfobble: Natural Calm...hmm....something to try.

This is a candy. The black bits have liquorice in. It's very tasty and pleasant to eat (can cause a problem, you know ). Maybe Monster will ahve an ide where you might get it in the US.

Another excellent one is fresh apple cider. buy a gallon and on an empty stomach drink at least 12 oz. every half hour or so. Wear a skirt or pants that are easy to get out of and don't stray too far from the toilet.

You'll know when it is time to stop.

It has to be fresh = cider, not cooked = juice. Unpasteurized is best, if you can find it.

Do they grow apples in Texas?

If it's German, it HAS to be good....

And if you get tired of eating apricots and apple cider, you could go for the more potent solution: magnesium citrate. We're partial to a product called "Natural Calm;" it's a lemon-flavored powder that fizzes and you can mix it into any kind of drink you want.

Mm. I have an internal off-switch, and the more so since I take Glucophage (metformin) now. It doesn't suppress my appetite, but it does clip the top off it, particularly for starches. My "you're full now" signal from tummy to midbrain comes suddenly and quite strongly, these days: stop eating now, or get a bit woozy for the better part of an hour. Which does not do much to shrink my bit of a grandpa gut, more's the pity.
