This is a candy. The black bits have liquorice in. It's very tasty and pleasant to eat (can cause a problem, you know

). Maybe Monster will ahve an ide where you might get it in the US.

You'll know when it is time to stop.

It has to be fresh = cider, not cooked = juice. Unpasteurized is best, if you can find it.

Mm. I have an internal off-switch, and the more so since I take Glucophage (metformin) now. It doesn't suppress my appetite, but it does clip the top off it, particularly for starches. My "you're full now" signal from tummy to midbrain comes suddenly and quite strongly, these days: stop eating now, or get a bit woozy for the better part of an hour. Which does not do much to shrink my bit of a grandpa gut, more's the pity.
