They may have all been theories, but not all theories become facts. Infinitely more are proven false. Awe heck - the world is flat again folks - just so you know.

A theory is always an initialization platform that is based on some deductions. Then there are further facts/equations/calculations/research to establish the validity. Without a theory in the first place, hardly any progress is possible.
World used to be flat once for the human race. That was what the observatory senses of the man told him. The newer discoveries negated the theory and proved that earth is spherical. Hardly there will be any head, that if not taught basics of science, would ever be able to tell the difference. He will continue to live with fear of falling of the edge of the plate

Are all your hopes, worries, happiness, sorrow, love, hate make believe. No doubt that they are inflicted due to external factors but how do you really feel them?

Yes.
My mind makes them up.

The fun thing about evolution (and science in general) is that it happens whether you believe in it or not.

Yes makes them up, in reaction to outside stimulus.
The things the mind creates without stimulus (cause), may be fun, but are likely irrelevant to reality, and not useful beyond entertainment.
