Well....you didn't give her a good answer.....
So I'm not going to bother.
Oh, and you need to call me more often, because I worry about you when you don't call.....

The jury is still out on this subject. It seems everyone is too distracted by sniffing after the scratch to quantify the following itch.

After almost 50 years of it not working, why does my mom still try to guilt all of her kids into doing something we won't do? You'de think after a few decades she'd try another approach... but no... guilt trip every phone call...

Most likely your mother was trained into this behavior by seeing it work with her own mother. Through the decades it has become second nature to her, to the point that she doesn't even realize she is doing it. It is who she is. The question that you must ask yourself is after all these years, how much longer are you going to expect your mother to become someone she is not?

Well, if by screwed up you mean it came out looking like oatmeal, then you were impatient and should have cooked it longer. If, however, it was black and hard, then you should pay closer attention as you let it burn. I find that if I flip the pancake when I see lots of little bubbles appear on the top then it will be just about perfect. Otherideas can be found here.

This happens to me too Binky. I think it's got something to do with the pan 'sealing' before it can make good pancakes.

I'm sorry. That information is only available to those that have reached OT Level III.

Now this is a very difficult question to answer. It really depends on the size of the map.

Actually the answer is approx. 600 miles. After that, you are in outerspace where there is no up or down, just away or towards. :-)
