Obviously, my American-centric thinking made me miss the soiree, as I incorrectly sussed that it was tonight in my world that it would occur.

I propose that we set our own unifying time standard, Cellar Nonstandard Time (CNT), and that it be based on The Cellar's location, which is Eastern Standard Time US. That would make this post being posted at 12:25 PM on Saturday, June 23, 2007 Cellar Standard Time, for example.

When anyone wants a gathering, they should post the planned gathering time in Cellar Nonstandard Time.

Hmm, I still think it's tonight:

That should give us almost 6.5 hours to go -- I say 'us' as I'm not expecting any doorman to keep noobs out of the experiment. (?)

Oh, and I think CNT is actually quite a good idea (hell, it's my own time). Maybe SG or somebody will post the CNT start.

Based on SG's note, I think you have until 7pm CNT.

I'm here. I was working towards a 19.00 in Philly (CNT)
It's approx 23.54 here (British Sundae Time)

Am about to crack the first beer - late for me, too early for the rest perhaps.
You'll have some cataching up to do.

Just going to turn the light above this end of the shop off - it's a little lively outside and I keep thinking I'm totally exposed (I'm not, but it's distracting)

I tried to join you in chat, but I've never been able to get that to function at home, probably due to slow dial-up.

Usage found that he needed to gag his firewall -maybe your security is just too high?
