The song in my head *smiles* There's always a tune in my head when I write, but it's usually one of my own devising. Generally it's a very simple repetetive tune.
Usually, it's the opening line and the accompanying tune that hit me first, the rest is then crafted around that.

A very good poem. You are a solid writer. I don't think it is emotionally manipulative at all. More like a peek behind a curtain we don't usually get to see. Thank you.
