The HSUS claims people are moving into bear country in NJ. It's more like bears are moving into people country. Bears are moving into neighborhoods that haven't seen a bear in 200 years, because of the increase in the bear population.
PA has more bears than anyone and NJ bears are still crossing the Delaware River to forage over here. The biggest attraction, by far, in not garbage but bird feeders. Bird seed is like MREs to bears...ready to eat, tasty, high energy meals for free. ![]()

Bears were here first. That means we need to let them open casinos and tax exempt tobacco shops to finance their relocation.

To the bear's friends, however, that cat was about 100 times larger, and the bear could only fight it for a few hours.

Bear is good eatin', and you get a nice rug out of the deal, and a couple necklaces.

Such is the uncaged progress of the bear.
The world has room to make a bear feel free; The universe seems cramped to you and me. Man acts more like the poor bear in a cage That all day fights a nervous inward rage --Robert Frost
