Not the most recent stuff off of v10. It integrates a really ugly DRM that Apple versions of Windows Media can't play. I can't listen to ATC Monitor with my Mac because of it:

Quote:
MAC users, please contact Microsoft.com and express your interest for Apple and Microsoft to come to terms with a Digital Rights Management Agreement. We are pleased to support Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox running on Microsoft.
I'd say 1 out of 30 or so videos, online, use this new MS DRM. I have no idea why they use it, either, since it isn't as if I'm going to steal audio from ATC Monitor and profit from it or anything. However, they even state:

Quote:
The audio stream produced by atcmonitor.com is protected by Windows Media Digital Rights Management (DRM). This action was taken due to theft of our audio stream by other webmasters on the Internet. With DRM enabled, you will only be able to listen to the audio stream from atcmonitor.com. However, DRM requires that you have the latest software updates and that your are running a supported operating system and browser.

When MS does their format shitting there is usually a month while open source players (like mplayer) catch up before I can play it. DRM is the exception. So far I've only run into on one video and the band is not getting my $ to watch a fucking promotional video.

Linux is much easier these days. Most the trouble comes in partitioning (which Windows doesn't even do because it is either installed or wipes everything (benefit of a monopoly)) but now the hardware support is better than with windows (no more digging for driver dis[c|k]s)!
