I used to go to Subway, but no longer. I haven't been to Quizno's - heard they were overrated. We have a Firehouse Sub, but I haven't been there. We also have a Nixon's Deli - so so. However, we do have a Lenny's Sub Shop - Love It - nothing is pre-made (subway) all of the meats & cheese are sliced when you order your sandwich. Mmm Good Stuff

Port of Subs was started here in Reno, NV, is in most western states, and the place I prefer to go to.

this strikes me as mildly amusing. stated as a negative......'i've heard that they were overrated.' i guess you get it without my having to explain it.....
if you really need to know why....ask Flint.

More in your neck of the woods, I love the steaks, hoagies, and other food at Rino's in Exton, too. John's Steaks in Frazier rocks muchly as well.

Johns Steaks in Frazer used to be Johns Pizza in Thorndale - which was legendary. It split into Johns/Frazer, which is pretty good, and Joeys/Thorndale, which sucks hairy balls.

We used to hang out at Rinos after the mall closed when i was in jr high. My friend Pat worked there thru high school...Occasionally, we used to call 1/2 hour before close, and order some kind of bizarre pizza, and never go get it.....Then pat would bring it home after he got off. o/` that's fucking teamwork o/'

We do not eat at Subway, but do occasionally enjoy Quizno's (toasty!) and Jimmy John's. There was a sandwich shop that Keryx's dad took her to called Pickle Barrel, it has since closed (probably over 15 years ago!) but it had the softest bread for the best sandwiches!

the meat looks about right, tho the cheese ratio is low... but the bread looks a bit suspect...spongy not crispy.... and, as bruce says whiz is for teh gheys. sharp provolone or american. also, it looks tiny. and yes, the jalapenos and corn chips put it in a totally foreign environment. but if you like them, hey.....if ever you come up here, let me treat you to one. k?
